Flight Of Life | The Moral

Once upon a time, It was a good day and those days were spring. Hummingbird Twitter, Fresh air is like a beautiful moment that no one would like to forget.

This is the story of those days when I was sitting on the bank of a river and reading a book. I did not know when 2 hours passed while reading the book, then I thought I should roam around for a while.

It was a little far away that I saw some hummingbird chirping at a tree. I loved watching birds, so I sat in a bench nearby to watch them for a while. There was a tree near me from where the sound of birds chirping was coming, so I looked at the branches above that tree.

I saw that, there was a nest on the far top of the tree. It was the nest of hummingbird, is so cute. The nest was not empty, one cute baby hummingbird was came out from the shield of egg, It was such a beautiful moment for me which I was very happy to see at that time. The baby is waiting for his mom.


Might be it was 'he'. Because its actions looks like a male .

Mom just went away for gathering food for baby. Now the waiting was just be ended 'cause mom was there at the nest. Mom gave him food and they were happy by that first meeting after the baby was came out from the shield of egg.


They hugged each other, it was the beautiful moment for every mother who meet his baby after its birth. After that the male hummingbird came there in the nest . He met his son after a great time. They talked with each other in their language.

"It was evening, so I decided to go from the place that day but I kept going there everyday so that I could see that baby bird growing".

It was flattering morning for the family. They woke up as per their schedule. Baby was still fast asleep. Mom and dad went for collecting food for their baby. After a long time they would back. Baby hummingbird was standing on the edge of the nest and was seeing his mom and dad was doing their work.

One question was struct in his mind by looking at his parents, "How miraculously they are flying?" Baby hummingbird was thinking, because every bird flies in the open sky, it is obvious that their children also want to fly in the open sky.

He also want to fly like them but he couldn't. Because he just came out from the egg last evening. It is not possible to every new born baby to use their body as like his parents to do something, same story was about Baby Bird, he wanted to fly but he was born on the last day, so it was not possible at that time.

Now parents were back at their nest. They would gave food to their new born baby. But the baby was eager to asked a question to them. He just asked it out of eagerness to his mom,

"mom, I want to fly as you and dad are flying, when can i take such good flight like you?"

Mom was silent. Again he asked the same question, "mom i want to fly like both of you".

Again the same response. Now he turned to his dad and asked him,

"dad, why both of you are silent? I want to go around the world and want to search new avenues".

Dad was silent for some times and gave the response in very calm manner,

"the day will come dear, have patience for some time. You will learn it automatically when it really needed". And he flew away.

Time was passing like flow of the water in the river. Now baby was grown up and was capable to took his flight. His mom was teaching him the lessons of flying. But somehow he could not do it. May be because he really didn't need it at that time.

Once in the time of morning. Parents of that hummingbird went for their daily work. Baby hummingbird was sitting inside the nest and looking at his wings with lovingly. He was thinking that, "how such a nice and colourful wings that I have, but I couldn't manage to take a flight".

In between his thought sudden death was coming from the sky. He was just a morsel of an eagle. He was frightened by that sight. And without any kind of training he jumped from the nest and was flying like a professional one and went into the deep forest.

May be he was out of danger after some time. He went back to his home and there his parents were waiting for him anxiously. He looked at them and went there and hugged them tightly.


They were happy after seeing their son back. He just then narrated the whole incident that how he came out from that danger, how he had managed to saved his life.

In between he learned that how to fly. "Dad was right, mom. In time of needs i learnt this lesson". baby hummingbird thanked his dad.

Moral that I have learnt from that life circle of baby bird is that;

Don't you think that our life is like this baby hummingbird? We never learn until we need it. We have wings to fly but we can not fly. We have desire and dreams but we can not complete it until then we haven't have that force of eagle.

God may be the eagle who always on our head. He always wants that we also can fly on our dreams and live the life happily. That's why he always sent turbulence on the way of life.

Conclusion: So don't blame on the worst situation 'cause one day it will leads you to the grater flight of life.
